Johann Friedrich Frauenholz (1758-1822). Nrnberg. 19th century Inscription: At the lower part signed in the printing plate: "gemahlt von Fr. Tischbein | gestochen von E. Morace". At the lower part inscribed in the printing plate: "bey J. F. Frauenholz zu Nürnberg". Date: 19th century Description: The bust portrait by the Stuttgart engraver Johann Gotthard von Müller shows the artist in a coat with fur collar and tassel, his hair tied in a plait at the nape of his neck and curled at the sides, typical of the time. The engraving follows the portrait Tischbein painted of Müller in Paris in 1773.
