        BRONZE STATUE - Cupid Aiming Arrow by Edme Augustin Jean Moreau-Vauthier (French, 1831-1893), depicting the winged boy twisting to fling his bolt, quiver lying between his feet, signed 'A. Moreau-Vauthier' and with foundry mark for Thiebaut Freres, probably a postmortem casting, selective verdigris patina, roughly 30" tall overall, 11 1/2" diam at base, missing arrow shaft point from right hand, rubs to toes on foremost foot. Feet are bolted into plinth by flanges, this is probably a ca 1915 casting.
