Otto Mühl is known to reference a multitude of classically modernist styles in his early work. Out of this the artist developed a postmodern conception of painting that came to be elementary to the discipline in the following years. His paintings and drawings are the result of his playfulness with his creative energies.

Original-Broschur mit handschriftlicher Nr. "54" auf dem Vorderdeckel (leicht gebräunt, angestaubt und fleckig). "Im Frühjahr (1966) wird auch Brus, so wie Mühl, Nitsch, der Kritiker Peter Weibel und der Experimentalfilmer Kurt Kren, zum 'Destruction in Art Symposion' nach London eingeladen. Zu diesem Zweck gründen die Künstler das 'Institut für Direkte Kunst'." Nach dem berühmten 'Zock' Festival im April 67 rückten die Zock-Gründer Mühl und Wiener wegen der dort offen ausgetragenen ideologischen Kontroversen auseinander und Mühl suchte wieder mehr Kontakt zu Brus. (Vgl. Der zertrümmerte Spiegel. Wiener Aktionismus 1960-1971 S. 120 u. 137). - Hektographierter Text einer Miniauflage. - Schnitt und im Rand vereinzelt leicht fleckig, sonst sehr gut erhalten.
