Mueller has work in the collections of the New York Public Library, Museum of Modern Art (New York), the Metropolitan Museum of Art (New York), the Stadtmuseum in Berlin, and Londons Victoria & Albert Museum. Collection also includes an abstract linocut by Philippe Nolle in vintage frame (with wear) measuring approx 16.75" W x 14.75" H OD. Art has loss from a puncture on reverse of frame.

But in its materiality, the present work but also reminds of works by other artists from the Catalan cultural area as Antoni Tàpies, Josep Guinovart and Antonio Clavé. Condition: The painting is overall in very good condition. It is mounted to the frames back board and framed behind glass. The plain metal frame bears slight signs of use. Miquel Barceló (b. 1957) The native Mallorcan Miquel Barceló studied at the Escuela de Artes Decorativas in Palma de Mallorca and shortly at the Escuela de Bellas Artes de Sant Jordi in Barcelona. Then he went back to Mallorca and joined the conceptual avant-garde group "Taller Llunàtic". Art Brut and the American Expressionism, especially Jackson Pollock, had a great influence on his work, which was later supplemented by the impressions he gained on extensive travels through Europe, America and especially West Africa. In 1982, Barceló took part in the documenta 7 in Kassel, which helped him to international recognition. Numerous exhibitions in major galleries such as the Galerie Bruno Bischofsberger in Zurich and international museums followed. Miquel Barceló lives and works in Paris, Mallorca and Mali.
