    George F. Muendel American, 1871-1948 New York Rooftops in Winter, 1898 Signed George F. Muendel and dated '98 (lr) Oil on canvas 24 x 18 inches Strip lined and glue relined. Narrow strips of inpaint, approximately 3 1/2" and 1" long, beginning 4" from top and 2" from right edge. More extensive inpainting along left edge, due to frame rubbing and abrasion, beginning 4 1/2" from top and extending 1 3/4" into composition and 20" in length. Inpaint also extends along lower edge, for about 4 1/2".
