Olexandr Fedorovich Mynka – was born on 15th of May, 1938 in Donetsk region. Fedir Emelyanovich, his father, was the first drawing teacher. He studied at Dnipropetrovsk Art College and Kyiv Art Institute. Mentors: Kostetsky V., Trokhimenko K., Yablonska T., Zabashta V. Since 1980 – a member of the Union of Artists of Ukraine. Participant of city, republican, all-Union and foreign art exhibitions. In 2000, the artist held posthumous solo exhibitions at the National Art Museum of Ukraine and Ukrainian Cultural Foundation. His works are presented in museum collections of Ukraine, Russia and Kazakhstan, are kept in gallery and private collections in Ukraine, Russia, Japan, France, Canada and the White House of USA. The Artist died in 1999.
