Bildnis des Constantin Alexander Joseph Fürst zu Salm-Salm. -- Bleistift auf Velin. 31,4 x 23,2 cm. Unten links monogrammiert und datiert "Ndp delin. Romae / 1830". -- -- Fürst Constantin zu Salm-Salm (1762-1828) war Förderer des jungen Franz Nadorp und ermöglichte ihm als Stipendiat eine Ausbildung zum Historienmaler an der Prager Kunstakademie bei Joseph Bergler. Mit einem der Söhne des Fürsten, dem Prinzen Franz-Joseph zu Salm-Salm (1801-1842) reist Nadorp im Herbst 1827 nach Italien. Porträt des Joseph Bergler. -- Lithographie von Joseph Quaisser nach einer Zeichnung von Franz Nadorp. 22,2 x 15,9 cm. 1823. -- -- Joseph Bergler war nach seinem Studium in Rom zunächst Hofmaler in Passau unter den Fürstbischöfen Firmian, Auersberg und Thun. Nach 1800 wurde er Direktor der Prager Akademie. Seine berühmtesten Schüler waren Joseph von Führich und Franz Nadorp, mit Joseph Quaisser war er freundschaftlich verbunden. Ausgezeichneter Druck mit Rändchen.
