        Fugi Nakamizo (1889-1950) Japanese, O/C

        This is a humble landscape by Fugi Nakamizo, a Japanese painter who moved to New York City in 1910 and studied at the Cooper Union Art School. He was also a WPA artist and worked with Joseph Pennell and William de Leftwich Dodge, and he was active in Old Lyme, Connecticut. It's signed on the back .The overall size is 21 1/4 x 25 1/4 in. wide and the sight size is 15 1/4 x 19 1/4 in.
