Juliette Nampijinpa Brown was born in 1970 and is an artist from Yuendumu Community, located approximately 3 hours from Alice Springs in Central Australia. Juilette is a Warlpiri woman with the primary focus of her paintings situated on the country of Mikanji. Her paintings are often titled Ngapa (Water) Dreaming.

Mkanji is a watercourse that is usually dry located to the West of Yuendumu. In this creek bed there are water soakages. Juilette uses a thick dotting technique to depict the area of Mikanji including its dry water soakages.

Juilette works closely with Warlukurlangu – Artists of Yuendumu and it is through them that her work is now featured in several galleries around Australia.
