        Est: $1,500 - $2,200

This painting depicts designs associated with Kaakuratintja (Lake MacDonald). During ancestral times two women visited this site on their travels to Lampintja and Walukaritjina nearby. The women were gathering the edible seeds known as wangunu or woollybutt from the perennial grass Eragrostis eriopoda. These seeds are ground into flour, water added and the resultant thick paste is cooked in hot sand and ashes to form a type of damper.
