L'artista sembra essersi specializzato in rappresentazioni d'interni di taverna risolte con un'alta qualità e figure di sapore monumentale rispetto ai formati contenuti, la qualità della luce e i colori in cui gli suggerisce che potrebbe aver trascorso del tempo in Italia.
