      Francois Denis Nee (French, 1732-1818), one "Vue Du Grand et Du Petit Chateau de Chantilly", the other "Vue Generale D'Ermenonville." Frame size: 14" high, 20" wide. Toning and light water stains, some creasing to both. Nee was born and died in Paris. He trained under Jacques-Philippe Le Bas and opened a shop with Louis-Joseph Masquelier the Elder in the 1770s on rue des Francs-Bourgeois, moving to rue de Fleurus after the French Revolution. Provenance: Property of a Guilford CT Estate.
