      PROPERTY FROM AN IMPORTANT MIDWEST COLLECTION RIVER RAPIDS-BREAKWATER I AND SHINTO GATE III: A SCULPTURE AND A COLLAGE measurements the first: length: 29 1/4 in. 74.2 cm. alternate measurements the second: 7 3/8 by 7 in. 18.7 by 17.8 cm. the first signed with initials GWF and dated 1986 in silver paint under the base the first metal; the second watercolor and gold paint on paper collage with staples on paper (2 works) Condition Note: Sculpture--in generally good condition; scattered scratches and scuff marks on triangular piece in foreground; minor nicks, scatches on edges Collage (not examined out of frame--edges show clearly and are intact)--also in generally good condition; there appears to be a horizontal crease along upper panel of work (perhaps it was folded at one point?); a few small losses in area painted with gold paint We are pleased to provide you with a general report of the condition of the property described in our catalogue.
