Newhouse (British, 1805-1877) published in 1845 by Fores of London, conditions vary, one with loss, some with foxing, stains, and small tears, most framed under glass, plate sizes 10 3/4" h. x 14 3/4" w. (not examined out of frame) [11 pieces total]

      NEWHOUSE, Charles B. (c.1805-1877). Incidents in Travelling. London: Thomas McLean, 1834-1835. Oblong 4°, (263 x 350mm). 18 hand-coloured aquatint plates [by R. G. Reeve] after Newhouse, each on blue paper, heightened with gum arabic. Contemporary green half roan over marbled boards, gilt spine (worn). A VERY RARE SERIES OF COACHING PRINTS BY CHARLES B. NEWHOUSE, an artist known for his coaching subjects produced between 1830 to 1845. This set of aquatints was issued in parts and originally published by J. Watson. This paarticular issue of the publication by McLean is not mentioned in Siltzer. Cf. Siltzer p.192 (J. Watson issue).
