        Zachariah Njobo "Resting Owl" Shona Soapstone Sculpture. Zachariah was born on 24 September 1962, in Birchenough Bridge, in the Midlands of Zimbabwe. Whilst still at school, he formed an interest in sculpting, which was kindled by his uncle who was a successful wood sculptor. His unique and distinctive style soon brought him to the attention of buyers and collectors alike. His very clean, efficient and often humorous works have now been displayed at a number of venues around the world, including Cannes, Spain, Los Angeles, Brussels, London, Brussels and Zurich.
