In a cherry colored wood and gold frame. Born in Muskogee, Oklahoma as a great-grandson of Roam Chief, a Pawnee Religious leader, he was raised in a traditional way linked to his culture. When accepted to the Chicago Art Institute, he turned it down to continue working for and studying under Frank Howell. In addition to his Native American influence, he also admired the composition and style of Van Gogh and Rembrandt. MEASUREMENTS: 34-1/8" x 29-1/2". Overall with frame 40-5/8" x 35-5/8".
