Hopp, Jüdisches Bürgertum in Frankfurt, 279. Rubens, A History of Jewish Costumes, 125. Nagler XI, 383, 31. - "Dagegen fanden seine radierten Blätter großen Beifall, in welchen er teilweise dem Rembrandt glücklich nachstrebte, besonders in einzelnen Köpfen und Bruchstücken. Man findet deren in vorzüglichen Sammlungen" (Nagler XI, 382). - Löb Beer Dann (1708-1804) trägt hier einen dreieckigen Hut und hält eine Münze in der Hand, die auf seine soziale Position anspielt.
