Gareth Nyandoro Art for Sale and Sold Prices

Gareth Nyandoro was born in Bikita, Zimbabwe in 1982. He obtained a National Diploma in Fine Art from Harare Polytechnic in 2003 before going on to further his studies in Creative Arts and Design at Chinhoyi University of Technology, Zimbabwe, in 2008. In 2014 and 2015, Nyandoro was a resident artist at the Rijksakedemie van Beeldende Kunsten in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Gareth Nyandoro was selected as the winner of the FT/OppenheimerFunds Emerging Voices 2016 Art Award. Since his debut solo exhibition titled Mutariri at the National Gallery of Zimbabwe in 2012, Nyandoro has exhibited widely on the African Continent and internationally.

In 2019 Gareth Nyandoro recently presented his solo exhibition titled JUGGLING SKILLS, at SMAC Gallery in Johannesburg, South Africa. The exhibition coincides with the launch of the first publication dedicated to the his body of works. In 2018, Nyandoro’s solo show, …READ ALL ABOUT, opened at the Van Doreen Waxter Gallery in New York, USA; and his work was included in the group exhibition, Five Bhobh: Painting at the End of an Era at Zeitz MOCAA in Cape Town, South Africa. Nyandoro also exhibited alongside Marlene Dumas, William Kentridge, Moshekwa Langa and Bahia Shebab in the group exhibition, Drawing Africa On The Map at the Quetzal Art Centre, Vidigueira, Portugal.
