      LOVERS IN THE PARK

      Est: -

From the expert assessment of PhDr. Naděžda Blažíčková-Horová: "The moody shot of nature, enhanced by the painter's happy relationship and marriage to Božena Rejzková, is a beautiful example of the painter's emotionally colored theme and extraordinary skill to capture the atmosphere of the depicted place in specific weather, such as spring. Impressive landscape layout is presented in virtuoso brush painting and an extraordinary sense of color and light, the color palette is dominated by green, brown, white and their shades. The sprawling tree with a bench around a strong trunk resembles a similar landscape shot from the same year called "Huláni". The presented emotional scene of Lovers in the park, view to the spring game reserve, is undoubtedly one of Blažíček's best landscape records from the period of early creation." Technique: Oil on cardboard, Signed: Lower left with a pencil "O. Blažíček"
