    Group of four Abbo Ostrowsky (American 1889 - 1975) etchings. Three are pencil signed ("Abbo Ostrowsky") lower right. The fourth is unsigned but appears to be a preliminary study for one of the included signed etchings. The smallest measures 7-3/8" x 6" image size, 11" x 8.75" sheet size. The largest measures 11-3/8" x 7-7/8" image size, 16" x 11-1/8" sheet size. All etchings are in excellent condition (plate area), sheets have minor tape strips or stains. All are unframed, loose and not mounted or glued down. Provenance: Amity Art Foundation, Inc. collection. We ship most items in this auction in house and gladly combine shipping if possible of multiple items.

Biography: "Antiquarian" Isobel Hinckley Glover, along with her husband Price Perkins Glover, were well known dealers and collectors of both Americana and 18th century English furniture and decorative arts. Price Glover, Inc. regularly exhibited at the Winter Antiques Show in New York and the Philadelphia Antiques Show. Isobel served many years on the board of directors for The National Antique and Art Dealers Association. The Glover family has a long history in the town of Litchfield,Connecticut.
