Illustrator Picasso. -Book "L'alquimista". Published by Juliá Guillamon, Barcelona, 2000. Provenance: Private Collection Antonio Orzaez (1933-2021). Measurements: 21 x 16 cm. This set belongs to the personal collection of Antoni Orzaez, the artists' photographer. His work in the Sala Gaspar led him to capture and get to know the lives of many artists who are essential to the history of art. In many cases his closeness with them became a friendship, as for example with Palau i Ferre, who personally gave him many works, dedicating them to him with great affection. Josep Palau was essentially a poet, but he cultivated different artistic disciplines such as poetry, theatre, essays and narrative, and was also one of the leading specialists in the work of the painter Pablo Picasso, with whom he maintained a close relationship during the last years of the Malaga-born artist's life. In 2017, on the occasion of the centenary of the poet's birth, the Palau i Fabre Year was commemorated.

Provenance: Private Collection Antonio Orzaez (1933-2021). Measurements: 33 x 26 cm; 50 x 33 cm (folder).
