Olaf Palm Art for Sale and Sold Prices

The son of immigrant Finnish farmers, Palm, born in Detroit, was raised in Northern California. He studied art at San Jose State College and was influenced by 17th Century Dutch Masters.

He settled in the Mendocino Coast of California. His subjects were bucolic scenes and artists, musicians, and craftspeople at work as well as scenes of his extensive travels. His modest studio was north of Fort Bragg out of which he worked for 25 years, his favorite subjects were musicians. Palm played standup bass in a local jazz trio and with other local groups.
