Palumbo, Vincent (It., 1936-2000). Carved white Tennessee marble bust of a child. c.1987. Unsigned. 9"h x 6 1/2"w x 5 1/2"d. Provenance: Received as a gift from the consignor's mother on June 4th, 1987. Mother commissioned the master carver Vincent Palumbo to make a Tennessee marble bust of her as a child (her mother originally made this in clay). A picture of the bust in the artist's studio was taken and feature in a Washington Post article on Nelson Rockefeller bust by Palumbo.
