He himself describes his artistic approach as a ‘search for banal things’. The artist examines these objects or places – which he partly finds occasionally and partly selects specifically –, providing a revealing picture of their ambivalent nature. Condition: The photographs appear in good condition. Some corners are slightly bumped. The reverses are somewhat damaged, probably due to previous labels. The cardboards are 57.8 x 72.4 cm in size. Luis Simón Molina-Pantin (born 1969) Born in Switzerland, Luis Simón Molina-Pantin lives and works in Caracas. He has exhibited internationally and took part in the XXV. Biennial of Sao Paulo. Some of his works are in major collections of museums, including the Museum of Fine Arts in Houston, the Centro Andaluz de Arte Contemporáneo in Sevilla and the Galería de Arte Nacional in Caracas.
