Mariana Papara graduated from the University of Art and Design in Cluj-Napoca in 1978 in the class of Professor Teodor Boti?, and in 1990 she became a member of the Union of Fine Artists from Piatra Neam?. In 2000 he settled in Italy in Turin, where he founded the first gallery of Romanian contemporary art in Italy where he organizes numerous exhibitions and artistic projects in which he is involved both as an artist and as an organizer and curator. Since 2006 he is president of the International Artistic Association "ARIPA" and a member of the International Association of Professional Artists.

Since 2006 he is president of the International Artistic Association "ARIPA" and a member of the International Association of Professional Artists. It is present with works in the three volumes of the Encyclopedia of Italian Art from 1900 to today. He participates in numerous personal and collective exhibitions both in Romania and in Europe, and his works can be found in public and private collections in Europe, America, Asia: Galati Art Museum; Tulcea Art Museum; Piatra Neamț Art Museum; Bacău Art Museum; Baia Mare Art Museum; Râmnicu Vâlcea Art Museum; Chieri Civic Museum Italy; Paris House of Europe; Gelluk Gallery, Haamstede, The Netherlands; Gallery “'t Haentje te Paart, Middelburg, The Netherlands; Small Format Museum, Nismas, Belgium; City Gallery, Biella, Italy; Raadskelder Gallery, Sluis, The Netherlands; Chie Art Gallery, Milan.
