b. 1938 -

Sierra Pecheur (Honolulu, b.1938) worked as an artist and performance artist in New York for thirteen years. Story’s language is the driving force of her over-arching work, an archeological dig site that examines the propaganda of myth, telling the alternate story of history. It encompasses thousands of bones, sculls, hearts and sculptures. Pecheur’s work looks at humanity’s power, constructive and destructive, imperfection and the possibility of transformation is what compels her. She lives and works in Los Angeles.
