H. PERCIVAL (BRITISH, FL.1875-1910) The barque 'Snowdrop' in full sail and flying the colours of . J. Tedford & Co. Watercolour Signed and dated 'H Percival 1890' (lower left) 18 x 25½in. (45.7 x 64.7cm.) According to Roger Finch in his book The Pierhead Painters (Barrie & Jenkins 1983), Percival was 'one of the most skilful and prolific of the later Liverpool ship portraitists working in watercolour..'
