Chilean artist, Alex Perez was born in Santiago in 1946. The fourth generation in a family of Jewish artists, oil painter Perez is known for his Realist land and seascape artworks. He acquired his knowledge of art from working in his father's studio, and it was during this time he refined his own artistic skills. He works with a number of different media, including oils, acrylics, stone sculpture, and engravings. 

In 1977, artist Alex Perez moved to Tel Aviv, Israel, where he has lived and worked since. He produced murals and stained glass artworks for synagogues in Holon and Tel Aviv, and his work is featured in numerous exhibits.
