Marineoffizier und Maler (1833 Schloss Purgstall, Steiermark bis 1905 Ragusa), Schüler von Selleny und Durand-Brager, 1875 Reise mit Kaiser Josef I. nach Dalmatien und Verleihung des Titels Kammermarinemaler, längere Zeit Begleiter auf Reisen von Kronprinz Rudolf, Teile seines Nachlasses befinden sich im Joanneum in Graz und in der Albertina in Wien, Quellen: Thieme-Becker und Wikipedia. Anton Perko, attr., Im Schlosshof large castle courtyard with some servants, detailed, lively architectural painting, watercolour on paper, around 1870, label with excerpt from Thieme-Becker on the back of the frame, minimally faded, framed behind glass, folded dimensions approx. 31.5 x 26 cm. Artist information: Slovenian-Austrian naval officer and painter (1833 Schloss Purgstall, Styria to 1905 Ragusa), pupil of Selleny and Durand-Brager, travelled with Emperor Josef I to Dalmatia in 1875 and was awarded the title Kammermarinemaler, accompanied Crown Prince Rudolf on his travels for a long time, parts of his estate can be found in the Joanneum in Graz and in the Albertina in Vienna, sources: Thieme-Becker and Wikipedia.
