Ge Polo has his own Indian ethnic roots in his past family history and feels a deep spiritual connection with American Indians. This piece has been on display in many U.S. and European exhibitions. The canvas is verso inscribed and dated Wolf Robe Cheyene A Warrior At Sand Creek 1864, Ge Polo 1998. The painting is in very good condition. The frame is slightly rubbed and partial bumped. The dimensions are 40 x 40 cm. Die frame measures 55 x 55 cm. Ge Polo (b. 1963) The artist Ge Polo, was born 1963 in Prague and studied at the local College for Graphics. Self-taught, he started pretty soon with other techniques, such as oil and mixed media. Lately, he produces 3D compositions. Especially his musician portraits and the series American Indians are known. The American culture and the Indians are recurring motifs in the artists oeuvre, which he has dedicated to whole exhibitions.
