Born in Callao to Greek immigrants. Began his studies at the National School of Fine Arts when he was 17 years old.. His teachers, José Sabogal and Julia Codesido were decisive in his early work. Ralli is considered a second generation of indigenous painters remembered alongside other artists such as Pedro Azabache and Gamaniel Palomino. Hence his paintings reflect the Ande and its inhabitants. The works of Ralli reveal snapshots of coastal dances like the sailor, the gannet or zamacueca; streets of the traditional city and children.
