    Lou Rankin (American, 1929-2016). A set of two (2) sculpted concrete figurines. Whimsical works produced in the artist's innovative concrete composition process. Both with art glass eyes. Includes: one (1) playful French poodle dog, produced in a limited edition and modeled on its back, signed and dated with edition number to underside (C) 1991 RANKIN 85 of 250 (measures approximately 3.5" x 10.5" x 5.5"); and one (1) bullfrog, modeled with one eye shut or winking, with encircling metal nail heads and hook to neck in a collar pattern, signed and dated to underside (C) 1991 RANKIN (measures approximately 6" x 7" x 8"). For indoor or outdoor display. Condition: Good overall condition having mild age related surface wear. Estate fresh to the market.
