Maxene Raymond Art for Sale and Sold Prices

With a 30 year career in Interior Design, Maxene has long been involved with the effects of space, color, and light. In 2009, given the inspiration of Cape Cod’s magnificence and art education opportunities, she began creating pastel landscapes and seascapes. She has since expanded to portraiture, figures, interiors, and still life and works in oils as well. She has been honored with numerous awards and is a Signature Member of the Connecticut Pastel Society, a full member of the Catharine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club, a Master Artist at the Cape Cod Art Center, as well as a member of the Pastel Society of America, and the Pastel Painters Society of Cape Cod. Her work has been published in Gail SIbley’s How To Pastel and in Cheap Joe’s Art Catalog. She has recently exhibited on Cape Cod at the Cape Cod Museum of Art, the Cotuit Center for the Arts, the Cape Cod Art Center, and the Creative Arts Center as well as the Salmagundi Art Club and the Catharine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club, both in New York.
