Illustrated sticker with title on the portfolio and the booklet binding. Tear without loss in the spine of the portfolio. Herrmann Meyer [1901-1972] was the founder and secretary of the Jewish bibliographic society, Soncino Gesellschaft, and he was the editor of its journal, the Soncino Blaetter, from 1925 until the organization was closed upon the Nazis rose to power in Germany. In 1937, he immigrated to Palestine where he settled in Jerusalem.
