August Reinhardt, Landschaft der Campagna Romana Blick in weite sommerlich-sonnige Landschaft mit vereinzelten Häusern und antiken Ruinen, lasierende, teils gering pastose, mediterrane Landschaftsmalerei, Öl auf Karton, um 1880, rechts unten signiert "A. Reinhardt", rückseitig altes handschriftliches Etikett, hier betitelt und bezeichnet "Campagne [sic] zwischen Rom und Civit[a]vecchia – gemalt v. A. Reinhardt Dresden", reinigungsbedürftig, schön in Goldstuckleiste gerahmt, Falzmaße ca. 41 x 55,5 cm. Künstlerinfo: eigentlich Friedrich August Reinhardt, dt. Landschaftsmaler (1831 Leipzig bis 1915 Dresden-Blasewitz), studierte 1846–50 an der Akademie Leipzig bei Bernhard Neher dem Jüngeren und Gustav Jäger, 1850–52 weitergebildet an der Akademie Weimar bei Friedrich Preller dem Älteren, 1852–54 Aufenthalt in Rom und Anschluss an Heinrich Franz-Dreber, 1854–59 Arbeitsaufenthalte in Neapel und Sizilien, anschließend in Schlesien, Wien und Leipzig, ab 1859 in Dresden-Loschwitz freischaffend, lieferte Beiträge für die Zeitschrift "Gartenlaube", Zeichenlehrer der Schwester des Sächsischen Königs Mathilde von Sachsen, 1864–70 weilte Ludwig Richter regelmäßig bei Reinhardt in Loschwitz, 1893 Ernennung zum Professor, 1893–1911 Zeichenlehrer am Kadettenkorps Dresden, Mitglied der Allgemeinen Deutschen Kunstgenossenschaft, tätig in Dresden (Loschwitz, Blasewitz und Striesen), Quelle: Thieme-Becker, Saur "Bio-Bibliographisches Künstlerlexikon", Müller-Singer, "Künstler am Dresdner Elbhang", Boetticher, Dressler und Friedrich Noack "Deutsches Leben in Rom 1700 bis 1900".

Meist monogrammiert (ligiert) und 1 Bl. zusätzlich mit den ligierten Monogrammen "RK", "VK" und "JK" bezeichnet sowie 1 Bl. datiert. Teils mit erklärenden Bezeichnungen in der Darstellung. Titelblatt mit dem Titel, Verlegeradresse von Rudolf Kuntze, Dresden und vierzeiligem Kinderreim in der Darstellung. Auf kräftigem Velin. Je ca. 19,5 x 17 und 24,8 x 19,8 cm (Titelbl.). Meist schwach stockfleckig und verso mit Kleberesten sowie durchscheinenden Klebespuren in den Ecken (Titelbl.). Beiliegt: ders., Fuchs aus dem Loch.
