Unframed, loose and not glued or mounted. Provenance: Estate collection of William Greenbaum, Gloucester, Massachusetts, Proprietor of William Greenbaum Fine Prints. A group of three large prints by Paul Renouard (1845-1924). Charles-Paul Renouard was a French painter, illustrator and print maker who was well known for documenting the lives of ordinary and working class people. He had a genuine sympathy for their plight. This lot of three works by the French artist features a print of people sleeping in a long room edition 27/80 with the artwork measuring approximately 32.75 inches wide by 24 inches tall, a scene of people gathering edition of 16/80 with the artwork measuring approximately 32.25 inches wide by approximately 24 inches tall and a print of an interior that does not seem to have an edition number with the artwork measuring approximately 23.75 inches wide by 31.5 inches tall. Each print is attached to a light green colored piece of cardboard that is slightly larger than each print. None of the works are framed. All of the edges of the prints are frayed with some small tears. Each print appears to be signed in pencil. Each print has discolored paper. 20
