    Folk Art "Bear & Honey" Figure attributed to Canadian Ewald Renz. There is no folk artist in the history of Canada quite like Ewald Rentz (1908-1995). His local surroundings in Beardmore Ontario inspired the whimsical and humorous creatures he is known for. This bear (enjoying a fresh pail of "honey") is a perfect example of his work. Condition: Excellent original condition. Minor hairlines at some joints. Structurally sound. 42" high. Base measures 18.25" x 14.75"
