    Ultima Thule by Henry Handel Richardson London Heinemann 1929 First Editition. Its a very good copy in a very good dustwrapper. Pasted to the free front endpaper is a two page handwritten letter from Henry Handel Richardson "Dear Mr Stott (cound be Scott or Slott) It gives me great pleasure to inscribe your copy of "Ultima Thule." I am so glad that you have liked the book - it is not to everyone's taste. I return it with this note & hoope it will reach you safely. I see it is a first edition. As I daresay you know, this was very small - consisted of only one thousand copies. Ultima Thule has had the good fortune to be chosen as the Book of the Month for September, in America. As a journalist you are no doubt aware what that means. I did not till now. Sincerely yours Henry Handel Richardson. Pasted to the pasted front endpaper is the envelope addressed by Richardson to R T Scott and postmarked London 20 Sep 1929.
