Richter in Breslau died 1795", inscribed "Friedrich Wilhelm II/King of Prussia/Friderika Louise/King of Prussia". Double portrait of the former Prussian royal couple. It shows Frederick William II (1744 Berlin - 1797 Potsdam), who was King of Prussia and Margrave of Brandenburg and Elector of the Holy Roman Empire from 1786 until his death. Next to him is his wife, Princess Friederike Luise of Hesse-Darmstadt (1751 Prenzlau-1805 Berlin). The sitters appear as steadfast, determined rulers.
