        I NYOMAN RIDI Bali, 1945- A seted young farmer Ink and pastels on canvas, 27,2 x 22 cm Signer in the lower right corner: “Ridi./ Penestanan./ Ubud.”. Provenance: ambassador Gerardo Carante. I Nyoman Ridi began to paint at the age of nine under the guidance of some painters active near his home. In 1956 he started to take lessons from Rudolf Bonnet, thus beginning a path of renewal of his style.
