Julius Rose (1828-1911) Born in Königsbrück, Karl Julius Rose studied the Dresden Academy under Hummer.He is mainly known for his beautiful landscape paintings that capture impressions from the Alps up to Norwegian fjords.He also created paintings under the pseudonym Georg Carée.
