Etching and aquatint on wove paper. Signed, dated, indicated "2nd state" and numbered as well as additionally titled in the plate. - Slightly cut in margin. Splendid, in blacks wonderfully nuanced, isolated experimental-like impression with clearly impressed plate mark, wide margin at top and bottom. - One of 78 copies of the second state. - Publ. by Multiples, Inc., New York, pprint by Aripeka Ltd. Editions, Aripeka, Florida. - The graphic work of Pop Art icon James Rosenquist includes lithography, etching, screen printing and other printing techniques. His prints show a similarly complex visual language as his paintings and also deal with themes such as consumption, technology, space travel and the relationship between man and machine. One of the central elements in Rosenquist's graphic works is fragmentation. Images from advertising, everyday objects or technical devices are isolated, superimposed or combined, often in a way that encourages the viewer to reflect on the meaning and connection of these elements.
