        Vintage Harry Ross carved loon with baby loon sitting on the back. Signed and dated on the bottom Harry Ross 85. This measures 17.25in L x 5.5in W overall. The baby loon on the back measures approx. 3.75in L x 1.5in W overall. Loon and baby are in excellent condition with no damage or repairs seen. Beautifully hand painted. Displays nicely and would add to any shop, collection or home. As always please see all photos for more detail and ask any questions prior to bidding. All items are looked over but not inspected further than with the naked eye.         Canvasback Drake and Black Duck Hen Both birds are the best efforts by one of the original makers for the Wildfowler Decoy Company in Old Saybrook, Connecticut. The basswood canvasback decoy has bill detail and carved secondary wing feathers. Signed in ink Harry Ross Old Saybrook, CT and Norway, ME, c. 1940 The canvasback is in very good original condition, a few small dings. The black duck is in very good original condition; a small cedar knot has bled George V. Soule Collection
