    ZDENEK ROSSMANN (1905-1984) VÝSTAVA RECKÉHO NÁRODNIHO ODBOJE ["EXHIBITION OF THE GREEK NATIONAL RESISTANCE."] 1947. 33x23 1/2 inches, 84x59 1/2 cm. V. Neubert, Prague. Condition B+: pin-holes in corners; repaired tears and minor restoration at edges. Rossman was one of the major Slovakian avant-garde figures. A trained architect, he studied at the Bauhaus and brought their tenets back with him to Czechoslovakia. He was a designer, typographer, photomontagist and teacher, most notable for his book design and work with functionalist typography.
