        Attributed to Peter Rouw, British, 1770-1852, a wax portrait relief of a gentleman, possibly the young Duke of Wellington, in a later circular mahogany frame with gilt slip, the portrait - 8cm high, the frame - 21cm diameter Note: Peter Rouw (1770-1852) sculptor and wax modeller, attended the Royal Academy Schools in 1788 and was appointed Sculptor, Modeller of Gems to H.R.H. the Prince of Wales (later George IV) in 1807.
