        1972. Oil and collage/canvas. 70,5 x 66,5 cm. Lo. ri. cyrillic sign. E. Rukhin and dat. 1972. - Russian artist. Alongside his geology studies, Rukhin began to paint and had a studio in Leningrad from the 1960s. In 1974, R. took part in a non-conformist exhibition near Moscow. Due to the unusually violent reaction of the regime, even by Soviet standards, this exhibition was soon referred to as the 'Bulldozer Exhibition'. R. died in a fire in his studio in 1976.
