Terry was born in Kent in 1951and attended Ravensbourne and Wimbledon Schools of Art. After moving to Wales and whilst continuing to devote spare time to making sculpture he worked in a factory where he learnt metal-working skills. Now working full time as a sculptor and painter, Terry has work in private collections in Britain, Ireland, Canada, USA, Belgium and France.
