      18TH CENTURY BRITISH ENGRAVINGS, LOT OF TWO, each printed on laid paper, comprising a hand-colored image from Shakespeare's King Henry IV, Act V, Scene IV engraved by Thomas Ryder (English, 1746-1810) after a painting by Francis Rigaud (French, 1742-1810), published in 1796 by J. & J. Boydell as part of the Boydells' Shakespeare Gallery; and a print by and after William Hogarth depicting "The March of the Guards to Finchley", the edition having been "retouched and amended" and "republished" by Hogarth on June 12th 1761 with a re-dedication to the King of Prussia. Housed under glass in modern frames. Mid to late 18th century. Shakespeare: 20 1/4" x 24 1/2" sight, 22 5/8" x 26 1/2" OA; Hogarth: 26 1/2" x 22 1/2" sight, 28" x 24" OA.
