She fled Nazi Germany and came to the United States in 1938/1939 with her husband Alfred (1890-1969) and her son Richard (1926-2005). According to a business card her studio was listed at 1290 Ocean Ave, Apt #5C, Brooklyn, NY. She was well known for oil landscapes in a her Germanic distinctive style. Signed by the artist in lower left of canvas. Housed in a gold gilt gesso wood frame. 30" H x 42" W.
