RADEMAKER on 2 loose leaves, engr. title in Dutch and Latin in banner in top section of the print, 55x95 cm., before 1735, framed. - A few foxed/ yellowed spots in image; some foxing in upper margin (also in the image). = Cat. Harlemia illustrata 396 (dating approx. 1730). One of a pair of "zeer zeldzame" (cat. Harlemia illustrata) engraved views. Very attractive view. SEE ILLUSTRATION PLATE LXV.

Very rare large-sized engraving by the Dutch print-maker Leonard Schenk (1696-1767) depicting the “Groenmarkt” (with the “Grote of Sint-Jacobskerk” in the background) in the centre of The Hague. – Partly foxed/ browned, but nevertheless an impressive engraving in good condition (not examined out of frame).
